Excitement is in the air as the Mars Area Ball Hockey program launches its first-ever competitive season, uniting student-athletes from 3rd through 12th grade for an unforgettable experience on the deck.

This inaugural season marks Mars’ entry into the National Scholastic Ball Hockey League (NSBHL)—a national organization committed to fostering passion, sportsmanship, and development through ball hockey.

With divisions tailored for Elementary, Middle, and High School players, the NSBHL ensures every participant can sharpen their skills, build lasting friendships, and experience the thrill of high-energy competition. The Mars teams will battle it out from Labor Day through Thanksgiving, facing off against other schools and programs in their quest for victory.

But the excitement doesn’t end with the regular season. Standout teams will earn the chance to compete for a National Championship, showcasing their talent on a bigger stage and representing Mars on the national deck hockey scene.
